Return and Refund Policy – Home Product Swap

Overview

At Home Product Swap, we want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase you make. Our return and refund policy lasts for 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and include all original packaging, manuals, and accessories. Items returned without proper packaging, damage caused by improper use, or without proof of purchase may not be accepted.

Please note that certain products are non-returnable due to hygiene, safety, or installation reasons. This includes opened bedding products, used bathroom accessories, or installed home security and fire safety devices.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable or digital products
  • Customized or personalized furniture and décor
  • Opened or used bedding, pillows, or mattresses
  • Installed home security or fire safety equipment
  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper installation

To complete your return, please provide a valid order number or receipt as proof of purchase. Do not send your items directly to the manufacturer unless instructed by our support team.

Partial Refunds

In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted (if applicable):

  • Items returned after 30 days of delivery.
  • Products that are not in their original condition, are used, or damaged for reasons not due to our error.
  • Items missing parts, manuals, or accessories.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original method of payment within a few business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet, please follow these steps:

  • First, check your bank account or payment method again.
  • Then contact your credit card company — it may take a few business days before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next, contact your bank — processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

If you’ve completed all these steps and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at support@homeproductswap.com.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale or clearance items cannot be refunded unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective, damaged, or delivered incorrectly. If you need to exchange a defective item for the same product, please email us at support@homeproductswap.com with your order details and photos (if applicable). Once approved, send your product to the return address provided by our support team.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once your returned item is received, a gift voucher will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift or was shipped to the gift giver, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser, and they will be notified of your return.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, please mail it to the return address provided by our customer service team after approval. You can contact us at support@homeproductswap.com for return instructions.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the product arrived damaged or defective. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If your refund is approved, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund amount.

The time for an exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on your location. For large or valuable items such as furniture or mattresses, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned package without tracking.
